Also in the Hinterlands is one of the last remaining settlements of the high elves in Lordaeron at the Quel'Danil Lodge. From the Eastern Plaguelands: the only way is to get to the eastern crusade area, and then swim along the shore southwards towards the river of the Hinterlands. I'm shocked sometimes to see how difficult some people do about threads like this. When you run that way you’ll see two level 40 gryphons flying around the opening into the hinterlands. Trivia: The zones holds one of the last remaining High Elf settlements in all of Eastern Kingdoms, with Quel'Danil Lodge at the center of the Hinterlands.
After that, just go west, following the mountain range, until you reach Aerie Peak.
